Bullitt Group manufacture, market and distribute rugged mobile devices under worldwide licence to a number of global brands including Caterpillar. The Catphone is a rugged, waterproof (IP68) smart phone that is built for people that work and play and want just one phone for all their needs. The Caterpillar brand is known for its reliability and toughness, perfect for the sport and outdoor markets. Our brief was to introduce the brand to sailors.
Offshore campaign #RuggedSailing
The Route du Rhum is one of France’s biggest sailing events with over 2 million visitors to the race village and a huge following online during the race. As one of offshore sailing pinnacles, it presented an opportunity to position the Catphone as the “rugged sailing phone” Alongside the sailing campaign, we had a retail popup in the race village showcasing the drop proof phones and also retailing the rugged accessories.

With the GC32 Tour visiting a number of venues across Europe we developed a mobile retail space that could retail product and also entertain guests. The 20ft shipping container was designed to feature all of Bullitt’s brands and provide a creative space to showcase the products and enable new dealers to see the products and enjoy the event,
Inshore Campaign - High Tech
The GC32 Racing Tour featured the new high tech breed of foiling catamaran and presented an opportunity for Bullitt Group to become the title partner for the 2015 Series. Sport Environment project managed the partnership with the organisers of the GC32 Tour, including the commercial terms, branding, corporate hospitality, content creation, and retail activation. The Tour visited five European venues, UK, France, Italy, Germany and Austria, all key markets for Catphones and their distributors.
